Recently I started reading a blog, Foodbabe.com and she has inspired to really watch what I am eating. She loves organics, more vegetables and less preservatives and other nasty chemicals that sneak in our food these days! So I found a few gems in Buckhead to help me reach this new goal! First is Ardens Garden on Roswell Road in Buckhead. I love their spinach slam (pineapple, spinach and mango). It is delicious and a perfect breakfast or lunch on the go! I also have been going through about a gallon or two of PH solution a week, this is celery, spinach, lemon, and cucumber. At first I was thought it was YUCK, but it really grows on you and now I crave it!
Second is Peachtree Yoga! I absolutely love this place and try to go as much as I can! The classes are an hour and a half, and I always come out feeling like I just had a massage. The teachers are great and they do both cardio, toning and the perfect amount of relaxing/stretching!
Third is Fly Wheel! I went this morning for the first time and they kicked my butt! It was SO HARD! Probably the hardest cardio workout I have ever done! It was 45 minutes, but went by very fast! They provide great service! You get your own shoes, locker, towel, they help you set up on your bike! You even have kiosks to check in, it was very efficient and easy! Any of you who know me, know I am very competitive (to a fault). In this class I had a "code" name and could see where I rank in the class as far as power! Knowing I was signed up for this made me hustle! I think I will continue to do this so I don't slow down and slack off! PS- I got 4th :)
Since I have been working out... I deserve new workout clothes! So where did I go? My fave, lululemon! I could go absolutely CRAZY in this place! And I kinda did....
I got this top!
and some of these pants..
I also got a yoga mat... mat holder, few more pants and tops :) I was bad!
Anyways, I love the new, healthy lifestyle and I am going to try my hardest to keep it up! I have always dieted and worked out, but now have a new perspective! I will strive to make this not a health kick, but lifestyle!
What is your favorite thing to do to stay healthy?
Good for you!
