Now that's a Rocking Chair Porch!

This weekend I get to hold my dream house open again! Want to see why its my dream house? Well besides the fact is a block away from Murphy's, Taco Mac, and all the fun Virginia Highland bars.... I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story!
 I told you...thats a rocking chair porch!

I also love that there is not 1, not 2, not 3 but 4 fireplaces in the house!!!

This master bath is any girl's dream, fireplace, jacuzzi and its sunny!
I would screen this porch in, and then you would never have to eat inside!

Open House Tomorrow at 694 E Morningside

If you are out and about tomorrow during this beautiful weather, stop by 694 E Morningside from 2-4! This is a 5 bedroom 3.5 bath home in the heart of Morningside for $649,000. This is the perfect family home if you want comfortable living. This home has hardwood floors,  a spacious floor plan, covered parking and a great, flat lot!

A little trivia....Do you know what a red door means?

In Feng Shui, a red front door means "welcome." Feng Shui is a Chinese philosophy in which the arrangement and color of objects in a room relates to the flow of energy. The front door is known as the "Mouth of Chi" where energy enters. If you believe in or follow Feng Shui, painting your front door red would create welcoming energy.
A red door means "welcome" in an old early American tradition. If a family had a red front door tired travelers traveling by horse and buggy would know that a home was a welcoming place to rest. They would be able to spend the night there.
A red door provides protection. In Biblical times, the Hebrew slaves were instructed to smear blood of a lamb on their front doors to protect their first born from the angel of death. In old Catholicism churches painted the doors of the church red to represent the blood of Christ. Passing through the door would mean that you were on holy ground. Some believe a red door protects the occupants from evil.
A red front door means mortgage-free. In Scotland, homeowners would paint their front door red to signify that they had paid off their mortgage.

Beautiful arched door ways throughout!

Large kitchen with plenty of counter space that opens to the family room.

Family room that light poors into!

Large and updated master suite.

Large master bath with a large tub and shower!

Aren't the hardwoods gorgeous?

Great back porch for grilling and enjoying this beautiful January weekend!

I hope you come see me! I will be there Sunday the 29th 2-4! Have a great weekend and feel free to email at ashley@Beacham.com with any questions!

First New Listing of 2012! Midtown Condo!

When I think of this new listing at 905 Juniper Street the first thing that comes to mind is sparkly. This condo is a gem and decorated to perfection! The homeowner's mother is an architect and decided to put a spin on this midtown condo, it is personalized and custom to her daughter's taste and it shows! Look at this beauty!

You can see off to the left of the picture below the added cabinetry! Most condos do not have near the storage and cabinet space as this one!

In the kitchen below, off to the right you can see a wine bar, the homeowner took out her bathtub and put in a wine bar! How smart and useful is that?!

Here is a better shot of the wine bar.

In the master bedroom, she added the bookcases to the right of the bed!

See no tub, but I love the table instead!

And this one! Ooh la la!

One of the best aspects of this condo is that is less than 20 feet from the pool area since it is on the same level!

And you have beautiful midtown views!

This beauty is listed at only $229,900! Email me at ashley@beacham.com if you are interested!
