Stephen and I went to Charlotte, NC this weekend for Kimber and Joshua's wedding! We were very excited for the wedding, but also to see Charlotte. We have never been so we left Friday morning and made the short drive up in time for a late lunch. We went to
Cowfish in Southpark. Southpark reminded me of Highland Park in Dallas and parts like Naples, FL. There are alot of outdoor shopping malls and lots of new construction. The really nice restaurants are in strip centers and have amazing decor!
At Cowfish, we split the Ahi Tuna Nachos! They were to die for!
Next we walked around the shops and went in Dean and Deluca for tastings!
We had the cured Duck and Cheese and Salami pizza! Both were awesome!
We had a very nice server who concocted some delicious martinis!
That night we went to the cocktail party after the rehearsal dinner on Lake Wylie! Saturday morning Stephen and I went to find a good spot to watch the Ole Miss game! Hotty Toddy! We went to uptown/downtown Charlotte and walked around on the beautiful Saturday morning.
Below is the area called Epicentre. It was very cool, lots of shopping and restaurants!
There was a festival going on in Uptown.
We found our spot to watch the Rebs! A neat bar called
Blackfinn Saloon in the Epicentre.
After half time we went to another bar in Dilworth to meet my friend, Sarah!
It was so nice to stroll through the gardens.
What a beautiful place to have pictures taken!
It was overall an awesome weekend!
They even had an artist doing caricatures. Wait, do we look like that?!
